Good evening guys ..... Show that a magnet has two poles . What are the properties of a magnet

1. it attracts iron, nickel,cobalt
2.when it breaks in two spun then it itself forms north and south pole.
3.it has an attracting forces at its end called poles of magnet.
4. like poles repel each other and unlike pole attracts each other.

I will tell uh a process to prove it .....

. - take a thread and suspend. it ..

after .. it stop .. means. at one position then the pole towards the South is south pole and the another side.,I.,e north that pole will be north pole...

It is due to property of attraction and repulsion.... Like poles repel each other and unlike pole attract each other.....

Magnetic field lines emerge from north pole and merge in South pole ......

In a compass niddle there is small bar is fixed to show the correct direction.......
