Question:- Two chords ab and Cd of a circle whose centre is O, meet at the point P and angle AOC=50 and angle BOD=40. Then the value of angle BPD?

Answer:-45°

Exterior angle of triangle]

∠AOC+∠BOD=2∠BPD
(Angle formed on major arc is half of the angle formed on centre)
then,

2 ∠BPD=50°+40°
2 ∠BPD=90°

∠BPD=90°/2
∠BPD=45°
