Difference between Conditioned Reflex (reflex action) and Unconditioned Reflex (voluntary action):

1). Conditioned or involuntary response is without the conscious involvement of brain.

•Unconditioned or voluntary action or response starts and take place with the involvement of brain.

2) Conditioned or reflex action cannot be stopped.

• Unconditioned or voluntary action is by the will of the person. One can decide whether to do or not.

3). Examples of conditioned reflexes: knee jer.k blinking of an eye, response of the body parts at time of an accident.

•Examples of Unconditioned Reflex: picking up a book, watching, writing, reading, etc.

Heya mate.......

Voluntary▶️ unconditioned reflexes....

voluntary action is basically an action which you yourself initiate by your own conscious. Your brain sends impulses from it to the effectors (muscles or glands) via the spinal cord with relay neurons and finally a motor neurons. This action is under the control of the will thus is known as a voluntary action.

Involuntary Actions (Reflex Actions)[conditioned reflexes]

Involuntary actions as their name suggest, are total opposites of voluntary

actions, a reflex action is not under the control of the will. In this case, your spinal cord takes total control, without your own conscious. Reflex actions controlled by the spinal cord, example scratching, are

called spinal reflexes. Brushing, sneezing and salivation are also reflex actions

however, salivation is also known a conditioned reflex action.
