1. It is given that when the triangle is not a right triangle or an equilateral triangle, then Heron’s
formula is to be used to calculate the area of a triangle.

(i) Find the area of triangle whose sides are 12cm, 6 cm and 15 cm.

(ii) A hand fan is made by stitching 10 equal size triangular strips of two different types of
paper as shown below. The dimensions of equal strips are 25 cm, 25 cm and 14 cm.
Find the total area of paper needed to make the hand fan.

=√33/2*9/2*21/2*3/2
