Good morning friends, please help me in finding out the answers of these questions..

  • x-y=12
  • 2x+3=9

by equation first,

x-y=12

  • x=12+y ..eq 3

put equation third in eq 2.

2x+3=9

= 2(12+y)+3=9

= 24+2y+3=9

= 2y+27=9

= 2y=9 - 27

= 2y= -18

  • = y= -9

put y= -9 in equation 3

x=12+y

x= 12+(-9)

x= 12-9

  • x=3

solve by substitution method,

steps o solve equation by substitution method,

  • first we have to find value of x and y in first equation and denote it by 3rd equation

  • then put value of x and y (equation 3rd) in 2 equation.
  • then find the value of x and y.
