To find :-
a) final velocity, v
b) time taken, t
Solution :-
a) using equation of motion .i.e.,
➠ v² = u² - 2as
➠ v² = 0² - 2(0.5)(25)
➠ v² = 25
➠ v = √25 = 5m/s
Thus, the final velocity of the car is 5m/s.
b) using the equation of motion .i.e.,
➠ v = u + at
➠ 5 = 0 + (0.5)(t)
➠ t = 5/0.5
➠ t = 10sec
Thus, the time taken is 10sec
