Good morning guys ......today ..in early morning I was reading polity. then I throught to saw the map of India ..that what is the reason of one place in east called the ,'West bengal'until that is situated in eat direction of India.....

Before partition, Bangladesh and West Bengal together were known as Bengal. After partition, east Bengal became Bangladesh while west began remained within us. This is why it’s called West Bengal even though it is on the east side of India
