What is salt?

If reaction occurs between any strong acid with any strong base then salt is formed along with water and heat is also produced in the reaction.

Special Points:-

A. pH of salt is neutral that means it's pH will be 7.

B. If strong acid and weak base is reacted then salt will be of lesser pH than 7.

C. If strong base and week acid is reacted then pH value of the salt will be more than 7 means it will be basic in nature.
