Good Morning
I am Yogeshwaran from 5g
Today's topic is Pollution
Pollution is the main cause of diseases spreading in the air

###The following methods help in reducing pollution

1) We should stop the usage of vehicles⛵

2) We should use cycles for short distance

3) We should ban factory which is causing more pollution

4) Government is bringing new rules and regulations to bring down the level of pollution

5) Improve industry and municipal waste management

6) Reduce agricultural waste incineration, forest fires and certain agroforestry activities — for example, charcoal production

7) Reduce emissions from household coal and biomass energy systems.

Humans are also regularly harmed by pollution. Long-term exposure to air pollution, for example, can lead to chronic respiratory disease, lung cancer and other diseases.

For instance, you might not be able to see the natural gases present in the air, but they are still there. Similarly, the pollutants which are messing up the air and increasing the levels of carbon dioxide is very dangerous for humans. Increased level of carbon dioxide will lead to global warming.

Pollution can cause acid rain, deterioration of fields, extinction of animals, respiratory health problems, skin damage and etc

It also contributes to the depletion of the ozone layer, which protects the Earth from the sun's UV rays. ... Some of the other environmental effects of air pollution are haze, eutrophication, and global climate change.

The next is water pollution -

1)Discharge of domestic and industrial effluent wastes, leakage from water tanks, marine dumping, radioactive waste and atmospheric deposition are major causes of water pollution.

2)Heavy metals that disposed off and industrial waste can accumulate in lakes and river, proving harmful to humans and animals

3)Many substances that are hazardous to human health can enter water supplies. Chemical waste from factories is sometimes dumped into rivers and lakes, or directly into the ground.

4)Pesticides (chemicals that kill insects) applied to farmland enter surface water and groundwater, often in large quantities.

Citarum River, Indonesia

This river has been called the worst and most polluted river in the world. 5 million people live on the river's basin, and they rely on it for their water supply

Next topic is noise pollution

Noise pollution is generally defined as regular exposure to elevated sound levels that may lead to adverse effects in humans or other living organisms. ... construction sounds like drilling or other heavy machinery in operation. airports, with constant elevated sounds from air traffic
Atmospheric pollution is not the only type of contamination that is harming living beings on the planet. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), it is one of the most dangerous environmental threats to health. And according to the European Environment Agency (EEA), noise is responsible for 16,600 premature deaths and more than 72,000 hospitalisations every year in Europe alone

Causes of sound pollution are traffic noise, air traffic, physical, construction sites

Solutions for Noise pollution

International bodies like the WHO agree that awareness of noise pollution is essential to beat this invisible enemy. For example: avoid very noisy leisure activities, opt for alternatives means of transport such as bicycles or electric vehicles over taking the car, do your housework at recommended times, insulate homes with noise-absorbing materials, etc. Educating the younger generation is also an essential aspect of environmental education.

Governments can also take measures to ensure correct noise management and reduce noise pollution. For example: protecting certain areas — parts of the countryside, areas of natural interest, city parks, etc. — from noise, establishing regulations that include preventive and corrective measures — mandatory separation between residential zones and sources of noise like airports, fines for exceeding noise limits, etc. —, installing noise insulation in new buildings, creating pedestrian areas where traffic is only allowed to enter to offload goods at certain times, replacing traditional asphalt with more efficient options that can reduce traffic noise by up to 3 dB, among others.

1. Industrialization

Most of the industries use big machines which are capable of producing a large amount of noise. Apart from that, various equipment like compressors, generators, exhaust fans, grinding mills also participates in producing big noise.

You’re probably familiar with the sight of workers in these factories and industries wearing earplugs to minimize the effect of noise.

However, even after taking precautionary measures like these, extensive exposure to high levels of noise might damage their hearing abilities in the long run.
