(1)Some parts in India experience floods and droughts at the same time because monsoon is not uniform in India.

(2)Though most of the country gets rainfall during summers, the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu receive rainfall during winters.

(3)Coastal areas have moderate temperature because the land absorbs and radiates heat much faster than sea.

Explanation:

(1) Monsoon winds blow more over some areas bringing heavy rainfall and floods. But some areas are deprived of monsoon winds and rain which causes drought.

(2) This is because of the retreating monsoon, which extends from the middle of September to the middle of November.

(3)So, during the day cool air from sea rush towards the land and during night cool air from the land rush towards sea.
