HEREDITY
Heredity is the genetic and epigenetic traits that people get from their ancestors through their parents’ DNA as modified by any inherited epigenetic changes to the way that some of the genes in that DNA are expressed.
Inherited epigenetic traits may silence or activate some of the genetic traits in the DNA that people get from their parents and can sometimes significantly change the way a person develops. Inheritable epigenetic modifications of the genetic traits can change from one generation to another depending on each ancestor’s lifestyle and environmental living conditions etc.
Additional epigenetic modifications may also take place during people’s lifetime to make further changes in the way that the genetic traits they inherited from their parents are expressed.
EVALUATION
The word evolution has all sorts of meanings to all sorts of people. To some, it is theory (in both the colloquial and scientific sense). To some, it is fact. To some, it is religion. To some, it is science. The word has been imbued with all sorts of mystique and implied meaning, and when someone throws the term out, the possibility exists for confusion.
To a biologist, it is a surprisingly simple term: evolution is a change in gene frequency within a population over time.

heredity:- the transmission of characters ( or traits) from the parents to their offspring is called hereditary.
evolution :- it is the sequence of gradual changes which took place in the primitive organism over millions of years due to which new species are produced.
