When Santa Claus Approudues
wish it were here,
The very best time,
In the whole of the year.
Im counting every day,
On my fingers and thumbs,
The weeks that should pass,
Before Santa Claus comes,
When the first snow flakes,
Begin to come down,
And the wind whistles sharp,
not mind the cold.
Though my fingers are numb,
Because it brings the time nearer,
When Santa Claus approaches,
And says "Merry Christmas".
