Solution:-

Let , the length of the train be x metres.

$\therefore$$\frac{x+250}{26}$${= 20}$

$\rightarrow$$\small\tt{x+250=20×26}$

$\rightarrow$$\small\tt{x+250=520}$

$\rightarrow$$\small\tt{x=520-250}$

$\rightarrow$$\small\tt{x=270}$
