Gopal bought 60 kg of mangoes at ₹ 48 per kg he sold 70% of the mangoes at ₹60 per kg and the remaining mangoes at ₹35 per kg find Gopal gain or loss percent on the whole deal​

Answer:

Cost Price of 60 kg mangoes = 60 × 48

= ₹ 2880

S.P. of 70% of total mangoes at ₹60/kg

= ₹ (70/100 × 60 × 60)

= ₹ 2520

and,

S.P. of rest 30% of total mangoes ar ₹35/kg

= ₹ ( 30/100 × 60 ×35 )

= ₹ 635

Total S.P. = 2520 + 635

= ₹ 3155

Total C.P. = ₹2880

Here , CP < SP

So ,

Gain = S.P. - C.P.

= 3155 - 2880

= ₹ 275

Now, Gain% = Gain/C.P. × 100

= 275/2880 × 100

= 9.54 ℅ ( approx.) Ans...
