Answer:

Step-by-step explanation

9 coins

Equal coins means equal ratio of coins .. so the respective ratio of coins would be 1:1:1 I'll make the ratio of coins into rs for easily solving.

1× 1rs = 1 rs, 1×2rs = 2rs , 1×5rs =5rs total 8rs the new ratio of coins in to rs is this as we calculate.

So now to find coins take any coins amount from new ratio.(I'll help you solve with rs 5 & 1) try solving with rs2 okay.

Taking rs. 5 first.

24rs × 5rs/8rs= 15 rs.

In rs 15 there will be how many coins of rs 5 , 15/5 = 3 coins. The ratio of coins is same so all the coins will be 3 so total 3+3+3= 9 coins.

Now rs 1 method.

24rs × 1rs/8rs= 3rs.

Now ofcourse in 3 rs there will be 3 coins of 1rs each and the ratio of coins is same so there will be 3 coins each total 9.
