The profit percentage is 20%.
Given data :
Selling price of 10 mangoes = Cost price of 12 mangoes.
Let,the cost price of one mango = x
So,the cost price of 12 mangoes = 12×x = 12x
Selling price of 10 mangoes = 12x
Selling price of 1 mango = 12x/10 = 6x/5
Now, 6x/5 is greater than x,so it's a profitable deal.
Profit = 6x/5- x = x/5
Profit percentage = 100×x/5/x = 100× x/5 × 1/x = 20% (answer)
