Gopal spends 25 % of his income on rent 15% on education and 45 % on food and , clothing etc . if he still saves rupees 1200 per month find his monthly income​

total percent on saving is 100 -(25+15+45)

so 15/100 x = 12000

x = 80000

so,money spend on rent=25x/100

also,money spend on education=15x/100

and,money spend on food and clothing etc=15x/100

but,still he saves 1200..

therefore,25x/100+15x/100+45x/100+1200=x

or,(25x+15x+45x+120000)/100=x

or,85x+120000=100x

or,100x-85x=120000

or,15x=120000

or,x=120000/15

or,x=8000

hence,his monthly income is RS.8000
