Let original price be 100%

Ibrahim bought it as 12% gain:

12 + 100 = 112%

.

John bought it at 5% loss:

5% of 112% = 0.05 x 112 = 5.6%

112 - 5.6 = 106.4%

.

John bought it at 106.4%

John bought it at 1330 rupees.

106.4% = 1330 rupees

.

FInd 1%:

106% = 1330

1% = 12.5 rupees

.

Find 100%:

1% = 12.5 rupees

.

Gopi sold it at 112%;

112% = 12.5 X 112 = 1400 rupees

.

Answer: Gopi sold the watch at 1400 rupees.
