gopi sold a watchr to ibrahim 20%
Let price be x
cost price + profit Percentage
x + 12%(x)
x + 0.12x
1.12x
Selling price of ibrahim to john = 1.2x
it will be the cost price of ibrahim to john
He Sold it 5% loss
cost price - loss percentage
(1.12x - 5%(1.12x))
(1.12x + 0.056x)
(1.176x)
John paid 1330
so..
1.176x = 1330
x = 1330/1.176 = 1131
cost price = 1131 = Gopi's sales price
