The night lamp was out. I felt as if two witches from hell were fighting the fiercest battle under my bed. I could not understand what was happening. I screamed too. My scream stilled the commotion under my bed! Then mewing T heard

two cats scurrying out of my room.

Coincidently, the night lamp lit after the temporary outage.

I switched on the main lights and peeped under my bed. Lying there I found a

mangled body of a rat. So the two cats fighting for their prey had scared me to death.
