More than half of the population of India comprises of the youth. Although with time the job opportunities have been increased it doesn't satisfy the whole population. Still, there are people who are unemployed and are waiting for better opportunities. In this case, when the number of jobs does not satisfy the population, the government should give allowances to unemployed people until they get a job. This would help them to survive and run their household.

I strongly believe that the Government must give unemployment allowance to unemployed people till they get a job. Giving unemployment allowance is beneficial for all.
First of all the Government has the responsibility to look after the needs and interests of its people. The nation is like a big family. The Government has the administrative powers; it uses the money of tax-payers for the development and welfare projects. Any person unemployed is the responsibility of the Government and the entire nation.
Secondly, unemployed people are a kind of burden and negative force for the economy of the nation; giving unemployment allowance to unemployed people will give them purchasing power; the balance of demand and supply is healthily maintained. This allowance is spent on buying goods and services produced in the economy. The companies invest more which gives rise to more employment opportunities. In case the unemployment allowance is not given, people won’t have purchasing power; the goods manufactured will keep lying on shelves to be purchased. This might complicate and negatively affect the economic activities.
For the faster development of the nation, unemployment allowance must be given to unemployed people.
