The royal vision was a project to convert the rich sands of the country into wealth that would be utilized for the common good of the people.
TTPL was incorporated to manufacture Titanium Dioxide pigment from ilmenite, a mineral abundantly available in the beach of the South Kerala, in collaboration with British Titan Products Limited (now known as Huntsman Tioxide). TTPL started production in 1951 at the modest rate of 5 tonnesper day. Today it is one of the leading manufacturer of the magic white pigment in the country producing nearly 60 tonnesper day. TTPL is an ISO 9001:2008 company accredited by NQA, UK.
