Should Crackers Be Banned On Dewali?

Good morning everyone present. I am going to express my views on ‘Should Crackers Be Banned On Dewali?’ And I am going to speak in favor of the motion. I strongly feel the crackers should be banned completely.  As all of you know Diwali is just round the corner! Let’s celebrate this Diwali differently. Our cities have already become polluted to the maximum. Let’s not pollute them anymore! Cannot we celebrate Diwali without crackers? Is it compulsory to fill our already polluted environment with more poison? Are we wise in doing so? Why do we precipitate the process of our own fall and sufferings? Bursting fire crackers has only disadvantages! Wastage of money, poisonous smoke, unbearable noise, fire accidents, garbage, litter, etc.! And still we want to burst them!

Crackers often contain elements like copper, cadmium, sulphur, aluminium and barium to produce the vibrant colours once ignited. The harmful gases produced from the bursting of crackers, such as Nitrous Oxide, remains in the air until the rain or strong winds reduce the pollution. Inhaling the fumes emitted by firecrackers adversely affects men and women’s health. It will cause fatal diseases such as cancer, diseases of lungs, asthma, etc.

Let’s join hands to say no to crackers this Diwali. Let’s not poison the air our children breathe. We have the responsibility of bequeathing a cleaner and healthier future. If we won’t ensure their safety and happiness, who else will?

Crackers should be banned

According to me,this is true that Crackers should be banned. This is because crackers produce too much smoke that creates smog. The smog that rises all over the sky in winters.

Almost ten days before Diwali people start burning crackers.

This daily routine creates too much smoke.Even after Diwali festival people keep burning crackers. This leads to rise in pollution level.

Diwali is a festival of lights. We can light up candles and diyas. We may burn green crackers. The green crackers produce very less smoke.

Let's be responsible and not burn crackers. If we don't burn crackers.Let's make Diwali 2019 a pollution free Diwali
