LHS = root ( 1 + cos A ) / ( 1 - cos A )

Multiply numerator and denominator with ( 1 + cos A )

= root ( 1 + cos A ) ( 1 + cos A ) / ( 1 - cos A ) ( 1 + cos A )

= root ( 1 + cos A ) ^2 / ( 1^2 - cos ^2 A )    ( a + b ) ( a - b) = a^2 - b ^2

= root ( 1 + cos A ) ^2 / ( sin ^2 A )

= ( 1 + cos A ) / sin A

= ( 1 / sin A ) + ( cos A / sin A )

= cosec A + cot A

HENCE LHS =RHS PROVED

HOPE THIS IS HELPFUL

PLZ MARK IT AS BRAINLIEST

pinky26sethi: plzz mark it as brainliest
nidhi411: I didn't understand last two steps
nidhi411: got it thanks
nidhi411: options is their on above
pinky26sethi: consider it as a+b/c okay we have separate it into a/c+b/c if we will add a/c+b/c we will get a+b/c okay like that ( 1 / sin A ) + ( cos A / sin A) so we got cosec A + cot A
pinky26sethi: yes
pinky26sethi: plzz mark it as brainliest plzz
nidhi411: done
pinky26sethi: thanks
nidhi411: welcome
