Answer:Phosphate is not an atom so it doesn't have an atomic mass. The phosphate ion PO3+4 is a molecular ion consisting of one phosphorous atom and four oxygen atoms so it's ionic or molecular mass is 30.973 + 3 x 15.999 = 78.9
