n factor of oxygen=4 (as 4 e are involved in its reduction)

gram equivalent volume=22.4/4

=5.6 L

hope this helps.

Answer:

The gram equivalent volume of O2 at STP is 5.6 L.

Explanation:

As it is known that 1 mole of the gas( 32g of O2) is equal to 22.4 L of the gas

In order to find the gram equivalent volume of O2-

Therefore, 32g -------> 22.4L of O2

So, 8g is equivalent to = (22.4/32) × 8 = 5.6 L of the gas.

So the gram equivalent volume of oxygen is 5.6L.
