Answer:

1. A statement is a defined and clear expression, speech, or sentence.

  • ex; It is cloudy outside today.

Likewise, an assertive sentence is a sentence which declares a statement, feeling, or opinion.

  • ex; strawberry ice cream is better than chocolate.

2. A command sentence are generally used in dialogue or articles that contain 2nd Person descriptives. They are used when someone is telling another to do something.

  • ex; "Stop Talking!"

An imperative sentence can be both a command or request, created generally from imperative verbs such as "Go," "Forget," or "Drive."

  • ex; "Finish your work."

3. Question and interrogative sentences are much the same, in which there is a clause that is associated with question-like meanings.

  • ex; "Where is Xander?" or "Is Xander sick?"

4. An exclamation is a sudden cry or remark.

  • ex; "Golly!" or "Wow!"

An exclamatory sentence is a sentence that holds an exclamation and represents great emotion (key ones being excitement, surprise, anger, or happiness).

  • ex; "I got a 9 on my assignment!" or "I can't believe you did that!" or "We're going to crash!"
