Determiners:

A determiner is a word which introduces the noun.It always comes before a noun ,not after it and it also comes before any other adjectives used to describe noun. They are required before a singular noun but are optional when it comes to introducing plural nouns.

In English there are four types of determiners. They are as follows:-

1. Articles

2. Demonstratives

3. Quantifiers

4. Possesive

Articles:

Article are among the most common determiners.There are three singular articles :-a', 'an' , 'the'. They specify which noun the speaker is referring to. 'A' and 'an' are indefinite articles while 'the' is definite article.
