(b) is correct (c)’to be spectacular’ – ‘to be’ is the infinitive form and is used after verbs and adjectives. Example. You need to be on time. Where as ‘being’ is the present participle form of the verb. It comes in continuous tenses. Here the verb ‘proved’ is in past tense. So ‘being’ is wrong.
