So, the age of G. father be 4x yrs  

According to Question,  

(4x - 10) = 7(x - 10)    

⇒ 4x - 10 = 7x - 70  

⇒ 4x - 7x = - 70 + 10  

⇒ - 3x = - 60  

⇒ 3x = 60  

⇒ x = 60/3    

⇒ x = 20  

∴ Abdul's age = x yrs = 20 yrs  

∴ G. Father's age = 4x yrs    

= 4(20) yrs  

= 80 yrs    

∴ Abdul's age is 20 years and his Grand Frather's age is 80 years
