Answer:

Kamala Das poem is titled "Blood." The portal of the grate grandmother is very vivid  with a rich cluster of details. The great grandmother was a religious woman. Who had fed on God for years.  She was proud of her family's blood purity. she was a simple woman. She married a prince at a young age. Her husband died after only a year together. As a result, her life became increasingly lonely. She eventually loses all worldly joys, which are reduced to simple condiments for her now.  After which she spend her time devoting to god and living in a simple monotonous life.
