Granite is used for making statues and kitchen tops. How do you think this rock is formed?

The magma originated from partial melting above the subduction zone. Granite generally contains more than 70% silica and forms at depths where continental crust partially melts. Magma rises up into areas of lower pressure where it cools and solidifies slowly to form granite.
