What is blogging?
Blogging is an internet term. It means ‘to share information in a casual way’. Blogging has become very common now and one can find blogs on any subject, including academics, crafts, woodworking, money saving, parenting, etc. The author of a blog is called a blogger. The language used in a blog is not formal. It is rather informal and more like a conversation. Also, the order of the blog posts is such that the latest blog post (article) is shown first. Then the older posts are shown. So, the sequence or chronology of the posts is reversed.

‘But soon’ shows the poet’s confidence in Granny putting the laptop to use later. It is an important expression here because though Granny likes her new laptop, she does not know what to do with it. It is a new gadget for her and she will take some time to get used to it. Also, she does not like the mouse. She thinks of the laptop mouse in terms of the mice that infest homes. That disgusts her. However, the poet is sure that she will be able to get over these issues and soon begin to use the laptop to write out her blog posts, send emails and voice her opinion and share recipes on various forums.
