As we can see in figure BDOE is a trapezium

Area of trapezuim = 1 / 2 × height ( sum of parallel sides )

As area undet V-T graph gives s ( displacement ) so,

s = 1 / 2 × t × ( v + u )

[ Note : t = ( v - u ) / a ]

s = 1 / 2 × ( v - u ) / a × ( v + u )

s = ( v² - u² ) / 2a

\boxed{ Answer : 2as= v^2 - u^2 }
