2x - 6 = 3

To Find:-

The value of "x"

Solution:-

2x - 6 = 3 \\ 2x - 6 + 6 = 3 + 6 \\ 2x = 9 \\  \frac{2x}{2}  =  \frac{9}{2}  \\ x =  \frac{9}{2}  \\ x = 4.5

OR

2x - 6 = 3 \\ 2x = 3 + 6 \\ 2x = 9 \\ x =  \frac{9}{2}  \\ x = 4.5
