It will cost Rs.1158.08 to lay grass at 8 rupees per square meter

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of rectangular plot = 15 m

Width of rectangular plot = 13 m

Area of rectangular plot = length \times breadth = 15 \times 13 = 195 m^2

Grass is to be laid in a rectangular plot 15m long and 13m wide leaving a circle of radius 4m for flower beds

Area of circular part = \pi r^2 = 3.14 \times 4^2 = 50.24 m^2

Area of grass = 195 m^2 - 50.24 m^2=144.76 m^2

Cost of laying grass of 1 sq.m. = Rs.8

Cost of laying grass of 144.76 sq.m. =8 \times 144.76 = Rs.1158.08

Hence It will cost Rs.1158.08 to lay grass at 8 rupees per square metre
