total area of garden on which grass to be laid =l*b
l \times b \\ 20m \times 18m = 360m {}^{2}

area of square on which grass not to be laid =l*l
l \times l \\ 2.5m \times 2.5m = 6.25m { }^{2}  \\ 4 \times 6.25m {}^{2}  = 25m {}^{2}
so are on which grass to be laid is 360m²-25m²=335m²
cost of grassing = 335*12=4020rs
rs4020
