Respected Sir,

This is to draw your kind attention that my farewell program that took place yesterday at the office premise, went off quite well.

After serving this organization for more than 35 years, what can be more touching than the chairman and the MD bestowing upon tokens of appreciation on me.

Their speech about me, followed by the speech of my dearest colleagues made me teary – eyed.

I am filled with utmost gratitude at your kind gesture and will be grateful if the company ever approaches me during its moments of need.
