Gravitational force acts on all objects in proportion to their masses.why then ,a heavy object does not fall faster than a light object?

The other factor is its surface area , more the surface area , more would br the resistance, i.e, friction , so due to this heavy objects sometimes donot fall faster than light one.
For example parachute will fall slower than a pin.

☺ Hello mate__ ❤

◾◾here is your answer...

All objects fall on ground with constant acceleration, called acceleration due to gravity (but condition is there are no air resistance!!).

This acceleration is a constant acceleration and does not depend upon the mass of an object. Hence, heavy objects do not fall faster than light objects.

I hope, this will help you.☺

Thank you______❤
