  • This happens because of acceleration due to gravity.
  • As there is a constant acceleration forming due to gravitational force which is 9.8 m/s².
  • So, the velocity of the objects will also be the same and the objects travel in a similar speed.
  • However, some light objects like feathers cannot fall in a similar speed because of the atmospheric pressure which is applied by the air and gets cancelled out by the gravitational force.

Explanation:

Because there is opposition offered by air.

But if you fall both objects in isolated medium then both falls at same time
