Force of gravity = Fg = 100N

Fg = \frac{GMm}{d^2}

100N = \frac{GMm}{d^2}

If the distance (d) between them is halved,

100N = \frac{GMm}{(d/2)^2}

100N = \frac{GMm}{d^2/4}

100N = 4 * \frac{GMm}{d^2}

As we know,

\frac{GMm}{d^2} = Fg

∴ 100N = 4 * Fg

Fg = \frac{100}{4}

∴ The force of gravity between the two objects after the distance between them is halved = \frac{100}{4} N = 25N
