In earth ,W =m×g

W= 10×9.8

=98 N

In moon ,

98÷6=16.33 N

As you notice many a time if we throw a body in upward direction Than after some time it start falling toward earth. This is due to the force between earth and object.

Force between earth and object is mg

where m is mass of the object

where m is mass of the objectg is gravitational acceleration due to earth

weight of the body on earth = mg

Acc to question

mg = 10×10......(1)

Weight of the body on moon = m(g°)

g° = g/6

Weight of the body on moon = mg/6

Weight of the body on moon = 100/6...(mg = 100N)

Weight on moon = 16.6N
