weight of 10 kg object on earth =10×9.8 =98

=1/6 × Weight of an object on the Earth

Also,

Weight = Mass × Acceleration

Acceleration due to gravity, g = 9.8 m/s^2

Therefore, weight of a 10 kg object on the Earth

And,

weight of the same object on the moon

=1/6 × 98 = 16.3 N
