Gravity is a force of attraction it is present in a surface of an object under certain conditions.
It acts like a magnet which attact every particle in its area,gravitational force(gravity) also helps us to remain on the earth's surface.
The gravity only pulls and object as Sun the ultimate source of life also uses gravity to keep plants in its orbit. It is a objects mass and cross section which can resist gravity.
