Answer:
There are no great minds. There are only people.
High achievers have a calling. This calling takes over whenever. A good example is that of a responsible couple. The moment they become parent their life priorities change noticeably. They have short term and long term dreams for their child. They persevere for years to make it come true. Why. Because they wish their child gets a better deal, a higher start. It is their calling 80–90%. They are besides themselves to make it happen.
Same with high achievers. There are numerous examples. Sadhguru, Ramana Maharshi, Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Vivekananda, Mother Teressa, Mahatma Gandhi, Nehru, Tito, Abdul Nasser, CV Raman, Abdul Kalam, S. Radhakrishnan and many more.
They have a social, political, national, financial, industrial, economic, spiritual calling and spend time life long in its service. They are captivated by it waking sleeping.
People who do not have a calling, live ordinary lives. They are involved mainly in these six activities - work, sleep, money earning, building wealth, and building prestige and reputation. They keep on building their lives. They live with wishes.
For high achievers these are not their principal goals.
