More than distribution of cumulative frequency plot is a kind of Ogive frequency distribution in which the frequencies are decreasing from top to bottom. Other than this we can also make a less than frequency distribution curve. Let us learn how to draw more than ogive.
We need to follow certain steps which are important to get a more than ogive graph. They are as follows: Data values and particularly the lower limits of class intervals are plotted on x – axis which is usually known as horizontal axis. Axis i.e. y – axis is used to plot the cumulative frequencies. This axis is perpendicular to horizontal axis and is called as vertical axis. When sketching the graph we must plot the respective points that are in form (data, L – limit) very carefully in order to get an appropriate more than ogive curve. Then finally we join these points to get final curve.
