VHF (Very High Frequency) Antennas are used for transmission of T.V. signals. VHF transmission range is a function of transmitting power, reciever senstivity and distance to the horizon,, since these signals propagate under normal conditionsas a line−of−sight phenomenon, i.e., the two antennas viz., the one transmittingthe signal.
