Western civilization began in Greece About 2,500 years ago, a way of life was created in
Greece. People admired this way of life and copied It Olympics Games, new scientific Ideas,
philosophy and democracy were first introduced by the Ancient Greeks.
The Ancient Greeks lived in Grerra and its Islands. They also lived in the county we now
know as Turkey. Besides this, they were also inhabitants of Italy, Sicily, North Africa and even
France Life for the common man was hard because falmland, water and wood for building
shelter were scarce. Most people lived by farming and fishing, but tried to find alternate
methods of livelihood. These salled to far off countries to establish trade. By doing so, they took
their way of life to these countries
However, the Greeks had a rich culture and their lifestyle was copied by the Roman too.
The ancient Greeke had beautiful temples with stone columns and statues. Open air threatres
were mede for people to sit and watch plays Greeks.
