Greed is a deadly vice. This we saw in the chapter Kingdom of Fools. The disciple wanted to stay there and enjoy eating the cheap food. But the guru was determined to leave and warned the disciple to beware as he could be in trouble. The disciple continued to enjoy his stay at the kingdom of fools. Soon he grew fat and stocky, which was about to become the cause of his death. However, his wise guru saved him.

If the disciple would not have been greedy, he would not have been in trouble.
