The phenomenon is known as Camouflage .

The term refers as disguise.

It is a a phenomenon when plants and animals hide themselves as the environment.

They mimic according to the surroundings to avoid detection.

Here green beetles acquire the color of green bushes to hide them from crows. It is a natural defense mechanism developed in prey.
